When Joanna contacted me to do her maternity portraits you could say I was a little excited. The location that she wanted to use was one of my favorites and she wanted to do an evening shoot which meant BEAUTIFUL golden light. We met up and in true me fashion I introduced myself and asked their names and made sure to tell them I am horrible with names (starting the session off with a laugh at my expense 🙂 ) we started out in front of a small waterfall and on the stone stairs that lead down the near the Oregon City elevator and then worked our way back up to the yard at the Mclaughlin House. I then made the suggestion that we use our remaining time to go over to the Promenade and I am quite happy that they said yes! The light on the bluff was even more amazing! I hope you enjoy these photos of this glowing mama to be and amazing daddy to be as much as I enjoyed taking them!
If you have any questions about maternity portraits you can contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org. My full photography portfolio can be found on my facebook page.
This senior portrait session almost got rained out. I am so glad that Miss A was perfectly alright with a little rain. We ended up only getting a half hour in before the skies opened up and the sky decided it was a waterfall but for those 30 min we had a lot of fun. This session was full of laughter If I wasn’t making her laugh she was making me laugh. I just love it when a client is comfortable with the camera and with me and we are both able to loosen up and just have fun! I hope you enjoy these senior photos as much as I did!
I was so excited that I got to do this little ones newborn photos. I first met his parents about a year ago when I had the opportunity to take couples photos of them, when little mans daddy got back from basic training. They were so much fun to shoot and this little man was no different. I had his two big brothers running around and playing with my props it was total chaos, but it was AMAZING. I love the fact that Newborn photography allows me to be a part of so many families even for just a moment. The photos that i take of these newborns will last a lifetime and my families trust me to help them preserve these moments. While I was taking photos of this beautiful boy I snapped a couple of his brothers wearing two of my wraps on their heads! It was GREAT!
Please enjoy the selection of photos that I have included below.

I had the opportunity recently to do my first collaboration with other art professionals. It was amazing! We spent the day doing make up and hair and then did a fashion shoot for Camp Hollyhock, a designer in Portland Oregon. The clothes are all hand made from vintage materials and they tote themselves as Play clothes for the City girl! Check out their Facebook page they have some really cute designs https://www.facebook.com/CampHollyhock. Hair and make up were done by Ashley Shore assisted by Caroline Cregger, you can check her out at http://www.Hairdonebyashley.com. I must say she is pretty amazing at what she does. One of the looks was a side bun and she got it to stay with only 3 Bobbi pins it was like magic! After our models Hair and Makeup were done and she was in wardrobe we headed out to a little patch of grass that happens to be right next to the salon. It was a perfect setting. Ashley brought with her an awesome shabby sheek green chair and we proceeded with the photos. I had so much fun photographing this model, she is so beautiful and easy to work with. We went for a more broken editorial look for these photos and she did great with it. it was quite cold out despite the sun and she was wearing a sun dress. Im honestly not sure how she did it. If you are in the market for Bridal hair and makeup please do not hesitate to contact Ashley and as always DellaMort Photography is available for your photography needs
Its a new school year, that means its time for incoming High School Seniors to make sure they have their senior Portraits. Make these photos truly representative of you. Have them taken at a favorite park or Near your favorite stomping ground. These pictures are meant to represent the adult that you have become or wish to become so make sure that you include something important to you weather that be the location or the necklace that your mother gave you or even your animal. and even thought they are meant to represent the adult that you have become they should also include some of where you came from. I welcome most props so If you have an old ratty doll that you have had since you were a child bring it we can find a way to use it, or we can do a looking back photo so bring a framed picture of yourself at a much younger age. I try very hard to make this experience one that is fun and memorable for you. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions about getting your senior portraits done with me there are a couple of ways that you can reach me. One is via my Facebook found here or by emailing me at email@example.com. I have included several images that I have taken below as examples but you can also find my portfolio on my facebook. I had the honor this weekend of getting to take newborn portraits of an adorable little boy. He was amazing through the whole session and only cried when we tried to put a hat on him that was a tad to small. Needless to say that hat came off pretty quickly and then he was happy again. We were able to get several wide awake baby pictures, During this time I tried to get some of the really cute propped up baby pictures however found that this did not work so well when the little man was awake. He was just a bit to wiggly. I had a lot of fun with this shoot since I love babies ( but who doesn’t) and getting to hold and coo with one while taking pictures is amazing. We did most of the photo ession inside in his nursery so that he would remain warm and secure in his surroundings and I think this worked out quite well. There was a large window that allowed plenty of natural light and I also used my fill flash to make sure that we didn’t have many harsh shadows. We did Head outside for some family portraits and the little guy promptly fell asleep but that was ok once we got back inside I was able to try and get the propped up baby portrait again and it worked much better. the center picture below is what came out of the little sleeping man. If you have any questions or would like to book a Photo session with me please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org or on Facebook .
I hope you enjoy these images as much as I enjoyed taking them. For more info on portrait pricing or packages please see my Facebook page or http://www.dellamortphotography.com.

I had two engagement Portrait sessions this weekend. The sun was shinning for both of them It was beautiful! The First session was an Molalla River State Park, We didnt get very far into the park but got several great shots. Tamara and Her fiance were amazing and so easy to work with. I hope you enjoy the Preview pictures.
The second shoot was at Mary S Young Park in West Linn with my engagement contest winner Traci and her Fiance. I had never been to this park before and wouldn’t you know that part of the park is an off leash dog park. There were dogs everywhere but it was so much fun! There were beautiful oak trees everywhere and a very pretty white flower that I do not know the name of but of course I had to use it in the ring picture!
